Day 11
Starter with zero period for two ...
G Honors: reviewed atomic number and mass number
defined isotope (repeat tomorrow)
atom, cation, anion
relative masses of subatomic particles with symbols
two charts of protons, neutrons, and electrons for isotopes of atoms and ions
just began atomic mass...do several calculation problems tomorrow and then do atomic theory.
D: got through same as G; do weighted average problem tomorrow for starters.
E: read the riot act , calmly, to Regents....gave them some hope for recovery and recommended extra help.
A: plan
1. consecutive reaction
2. mixture problem via weighted average
3. combustion analysis w/empirical formula chart of .2, .25, .33 , .4, .5, .60 .67, .75, .8
4. reverse engineer gravimetric analysis
5. limiting reactant
okay, got up to the end of combustion analysis C8H8O3
tomorrow, reverse engineer, LR, vol analysis precipitatation to molarity and then start gases...
