Day 5

A: finished lim reactant problem - had to stress the meaning of the stoichiometric coefficients and what ratios to use for the 3 methods of LR determination.
Finished reaction types and did redox balancing for acidic conditions (and basic but didn't do a formal basic example from scratch).
Test Monday.

D: got through phys and chem props and evidence of chem change
MUST GO OVER EVIDENCE OF PHYS CHANGE VS CHEM CHANGE and PHASES of matter

WITH EXAMPLES---stick with PLANNED DEMOS drawings and movies ....have them ready to go at the BEGINNING!!!!

G: same but, on MONDAY, explain the formula difference between element and compound as
element = one SYMBOL!!!! (not letter), compound = two or more SYMBOLS with definite subscripts.
