November Update

Didn't get to solution formation and lattice energy Hess Law Diagrams so do them during the solutions unit after bonding (or during). Same deal for explaining "average bond enthalpies" e.g. for a C-H bond.

Objectives to remember

Stoich unit: don't forget "consecutive reactions" and "mixture problems".

Test 1 Errors:

Unit 1 Bio-
1. hypotheses are NOT questions; use if-then exclusively BUT recognize any cause effect prediction.
2. start data at LOWEST data value! (forget zero!)
3. forgot to teach locomotion, centrifuge and other scientist tools- just use your powerpoints for that!

AP Chem- naming and formula writing were atrocious! Have special review session for that and emphasize (only 11 nonmetals to form molecules!) in class.
